Borax Free Slime Recipe
This recipe really could not be more simple. You can add color and scent to the base slime or play with it as is; it is tons of fun any way you do it!
Borax Free Slime Recipe (affiliate links provided)
- 2 bottles of school glue (8 oz)
- 1 cup of liquid starch
- Optional additions- food coloring, essential oils, or extracts (for scent and color)
Method
- combine the ingredients in a bowl and mix
Once the slime is mixed let it sit for a few minutes before play. This helps the slime to set & lose it's stickiness.
That's it! Couldn't be more simple, right? You can add color or scent if desired. You can also add alphabet letters to make alphabet SLIME! Just follow the recipe above and add transparent letters. You can also use the alphabet slime recipe we first shared which uses borax.
This time we wanted to make regular transparent slime. We have some fun ideas using this slime; be sure to connect with us on Pinterest and Facebook so you don't miss them!
A Few Tips: Liquid starch can be found in the laundry aisle of most stores or online here. We make slime a lot and save money by buying our glue in bulk. When the kids are finished playing store the slime in an air tight container; it will last for several months.
