Borax Free Slime Recipe

We have shared this simple slime recipe many times, and it is still one of our go to recipes for play!  You only need two ingredients to make this slime & no borax!

This recipe really could not be more simple.  You can add color and scent to the base slime or play with it as is; it is tons of fun any way you do it!

You can use white glue, clear glue, or glitter glue.  This time we used clear glue.  

Method
  • combine the ingredients in a bowl and mix

Once the slime is mixed let it sit for a few minutes before play.  This helps the slime to set & lose it's stickiness.

That's it!  Couldn't be more simple, right?  You can add color or scent if desired.  You can also add alphabet letters to make alphabet SLIME!  Just follow the recipe above and add transparent letters.  You can also use the alphabet slime recipe we first shared which uses borax.

A Few Tips:  Liquid starch can be found in the laundry aisle of most stores or online here.  We make slime a lot and save money by buying our glue in bulk.  When the kids are finished playing store the slime in an air tight container; it will last for several months.
