Simple Winter Play for Kids

This simple activity kept Rosie and Jewel happy and playing for quite a while.  Play began with a hunt for glowing snow.  I activated several glow sticks and hid them in the snow.  Rosie and Jewel had so much fun hunting for them.

Each time they found a glow stick they were so excited

The larger glow sticks illuminated the snow fairly intensely, making them easier to spot

Once all the glow sticks had been found the girls had lots of fun counting them, grouping them by color, and lining them up in the snow

 

 I can't wait to explore with glow sticks in the snow at night.  I bet that would be even more fun!
