LOVEwiches
Love Lunch For Kids
These cute little sandwiches only take minutes to make and always make my girls smile.
Love Sandwich Materials
- Peanut butter (skip or substitute for allergies if needed)
- Jelly
- Bread
- A heart shaped cookie cutter
Instructions
Carefully cut the crusts off of the bread slices if desired. This isn't necessary, but I think it makes the heart stand out more once the sandwiches are assembled.
You will need two slices of bread for each sandwich you want to make. Add peanut butter to the bottom slice of bread and then top with jelly. I added extra jelly to the middle of the bread where the heart was going to be. Take the second slice of bread and use the cookie cutter to cut a heart from the middle.
Place the heart bread on top of the jelly and "voila!" Lovewiches!
Make lunch time extra special and give kids a love lunch. I served Rosie and Jewel's sandwiches on heart shaped plates with strawberry milk and special straws
I found the straws and plates at Michaels for just a few dollars. Some other fun additions would be heart shapes strawberries and strawberry yogurt
