The other night Rosie and Jewel were enjoying a glow in the dark bath with glow sticks, and there just happened to also be a strainer in the tub from a previous bath time. By exploring the two elements together, Rosie discovered that the glow stick bracelets fit perfectly into the holes of the strainer creating a bath time light bright.

This activity reminded me of the homemade light bright we recently made, and was essentially a bath time light bright. Rosie made circles, triangles, and several other simple designs. She also practiced patterning by arranging the glow bracelets in specific color sequences.
While Rosie loved putting the glow sticks in the holes, Jewel delighted in taking them out.
Then, once bath time was over, Rosie helped me gather all the glow bracelets into piles sorted by color.
This activity was such a simple extension of a bath time favorite, and one we will definitely be doing again!
