- Washable paint
- An ice cube tray

Ice painting is a great way to cool things off on a hot Summer day
Both girls loved handling the cold ice!
Rosie loved using the ice paint to engage in a bit of body painting, which was another great way to stay cool
The only drawback to the ice painting was that the ice cubes looked so much like popsicles Jewel kept tasting them.
That was ok though. I quickly came up with a solution. I quickly whipped up some kool-aid ice paint so that Jewel could enjoy edible, baby safe sensory ice painting. The colors were so vibrant and the girls got to explore with all of their senses. The kool-aid ice paint smelled AMAZING!!!!!
To make kool-aid ice just add a bit of varying kool-aid powders to an ice tray and fill with water. Stir and then place the tray in the freezer. It will be ready in just a few hours; Easy peasy and SO FUN!
Here is Rosie and Jewel's finished kool-aid ice painting! Aren't the colors so vibrant and beautiful?
